Hebe allanii (syn Hebe amplexicaulis forma hirta) is a low-growing, evergreen shrub, reaching 10 in (25 cm) high, and more across. The leaves are pale grey-green, oval, thick, about 0.7 in (18 mm) long, and 0.4 in (10 mm) wide, and covered with short, white hairs; the margins are pale green or red. In June and July it bears spikes of white flowers. A hebe that is fully hardy in the UK.
This hebe is said to grow on Mount Peel, Canterbury, South Island of New Zealand.
