Hebe ‘Bicolor Wand’ is a large, rounded, somewhat tender, evergreen shrub, growing to 5 ft (150 cm) or more. The dark green leaves are spear shaped, about 3.5 in (9 cm) long. The flowers are blue-purple; summer. Fairly hardy in the UK. The Wand series of hebes was raised by the nurserymen Treseders of Truro, Cornwall, UK, from Hebe ‘Miss E Fittall’, which is said to be a cross between Hebe salicifolia and Hebe speciosa. |
