Hebe ‘Hartii’ (syn Hebe ‘Lavender Spray’) is a fast growing, spreading, evergreen shrub, growing to about 8 in (20 cm) high and 40 in (1 m) wide. The spear shaped leaves are rich green. The flowers are pale lavender-mauve fading to white; flowers profusely in spring to early summer. A hebe hardy in the UK. This hebe cultivar is effective as groundcover or spilling over a wall. It was probably named after H Hart of Dunedin, New Zealand, who was a keen cultivator and collector of plants. |
