Hebe ‘Karo Golden Esk’ is an upright, evergreen shrub, reaching about 24 in (60 cm) high, with very small leaves, green in summer, yellowish in winter. A hebe hardy in the UK. It is a natural hybrid between Hebe odora and Hebe armstrongii, found in 1988 by Dr Brian Molloy near the Esk River, Canterbury, South Island, New Zealand. Karo is an acronym for ‘known and recorded origin’. |
