Hebe odora ‘Wintergreen’ (syn Hebe odora ‘Winter Green’) is an upright, bushy, evergreen shrub, growing to a height of about 40 in (1 m) high. The green spear-shaped leaves are 0.4 in (1 cm) long and 0.2 in (0.5 cm) wide, with yellow-green edges. White flowers are carried in terminal spikes in early summer. This hebe is hardy in the UK. Little is known about this hebe cultivar, which may well have been collected in New Zealand, where the species is very variable. |
