Hebe ‘Pearl of Paradise’ is small, compact, upright, evergreen shrub, growing to about 30 in (75 cm) high in 4 years. The mid-green leaves are spear-shaped. Spikes of lilac flowers are carried in May and June, and will often flower again in summer and autumn if pruned after flowering. In the UK it grows in full sun in most soils. This hebe cultivar was recently introduced by a large Dutch nursery. It is hardy to –10°C. |
