Arthropodium cirratum
Arthropodium cirratum (syn rock lily, renga renga) forms a large clump of fleshy leaves. The green, fleshy, spear-shaped leaves are 12–24 in (30–60 cm) long. The flowers are white, summer. This is one of the best of New Zealand’s herbaceous plants. Found in coastal areas of Three Knights Island, North Island and the north of the South Island, New Zealand. In the UK Arthropodium cirratum is fairly hardy, but very susceptible to slug damage. |
