Clematis ‘Early Sensation’ is scrambling evergreen shrub, growing to 8 ft (2.5 m). The small leaves are dark green and divided. The flowers are small and creamy white, scented, spring. It is fairly hardy in the UK. Clematis ‘Early Sensation’ was bred by Graham Hutchins of County Park Nursery, Hornchurch, Essex, UK. According to Robin Savill it has a cross between Clematis paniculata and a Clematis paniculata hybrid. |
