Euphrasia laingii
Euphrasia laingii is an erect herbaceous much-branched plant, growing up to 8 in (20 cm) high. The wedge-shaped leaves are 0.25–0.5 in (6–12 mm) long, reddish when young. The white flowers have a yellow-orange throat; summer. Euphrasia laingii is found in snow tussock herbfields of the eastern Nelson and Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand, southwards to Mount Cook, where it is prominent. It is similar in appearance to Euphrasia monroi. |
