Olearia arborescens

Olearia arborescens is a spreading, bushy, evergreen shrub, or small tree, 3–12 ft (1–3.6 m) high in the wild. The leathery, shiny green, broad oval-shaped leaves are 1.6–3 in (4–7.5 cm) long, silvery beneath, the edges are wavy and toothed. The white flowers are, carried in wide, much branched flower heads; spring to summer. Olearia arborescens is found in lowland to mountain scrubland in North Island, East Cape southwards and throughout South and Stewart Islands, New Zealand. Not fully hardy in the UK |
