Olearia cheesemanii
Olearia cheesemanii is an erect, evergreen, bushy shrub, growing up to 12 ft (3.5 m) tall. The spear-shaped, dark green leaves are 2–3.3 in (5–8.5 cm) long. The daisy flowers are carried in dense heads, spring. Olearia cheesemanii is found along lowland streamsides south of Auckland in the North Island, and to the Southern Alps in the South Island, New Zealand. Not fully hardy in the UK. May be seen under the name Olearia rani. Closely allied to Olearia arborescens. |
