Olearia solandri
Olearia solandri is an evergreen, erect, bushy shrub or small tree 5–15 ft (1.5–4.6 m) high. The spear-shaped leaves on mature plants are dark green above, yellow below, and are 0.2–0.3 in (5–8 mm) long. The small daisy flowers are highly scented; summer. Olearia solandri is found near the coast, (occasionally inland) in the North Island, and in Marlborough to the north of the South Island, New Zealand. Not fully hardy in the UK. |
