Ourisia macrophylla

Ourisia macrophylla is an herbaceous perennial, which forms rosettes of leaves. The green leaves are oval to circular, 1.6–4 in (4–10 cm) in diameter. The white flowers have a yellow tube; spring to summer. Ourisia macrophylla is found above the tree line on Taranaki (Mount Egmont), North Island, New Zealand. Subspecies robusta has a much wider distribution, and has a reputation as a better garden plant. |
