Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Abbotsbury Gold’ is an evergreen large shrub or small tree of columnar habit, growing up to 30 ft (9 m) high. The oval, shiny, variegated, green leaves are 1–1.6 in (2.5–4 cm) long, with a central yellow-green blotch, which is conspicuous on young leaves, fading on older leaves. The flowers are very dark purple, sweetly scented; spring.
