Ranunculus buchananii
Ranunculus buchananii is a glaucous herb, which grows to 8 in (20 cm). The leaves are kidney shaped in outline, but deeply divided. The flowers are white, 1.6–2.4 in (4–6 cm) in diameter, singly, or up to four flowers per stem. Ranunculus buchananii is found in high alpine fellfields (areas of rock fragments), near snowfields, south Westland, Fiordland and western Otago, South Island, New Zealand. |
