Raoulia bryoides forms large, hard, cushion-shaped mounds up to 40 in (1 m) across. The tiny leaves have a covering of hairs. The tiny flower heads are buried amongst the leaves. Raoulia bryoides is found in alpine to subalpine rocks, in the drier areas of Nelson to Canterbury, South Island, New Zealand |
