Bulbinella angustifolia
Bulbinella angustifolia is a yellow flowered bulbous plant, with narrow strap-like leaves, growing up to 40 in (1 m) high, but usually less. The leaves are up 18 in (45 cm) long and up to 0.6 in (1.5 cm) wide. The flowers are bright yellow; summer. Bulbinella angustifolia is found in grassland, in alpine areas to the east of the Southern Alps, from north Canterbury southwards, South Island, New Zealand, where it is the most common member of the genus. |
