Myosotis colensoi

Myosotis colensoi is a mat-forming herbaceous perennial plant that grows in clumps up to 8–20 in (20–50 cm) across. The greyish green, spear-shaped, rosette leaves are 0.8–1.2 in (2–3 cm) long, the stem leaves are smaller. White flowers with a yellow eye in spring to summer. Myosotis colensoi is found on limestone rocks in the upper Waimakariri Valley, South Island, New Zealand. It is said to be good for growing in rock gardens. |
