Leptospermum scoparium ‘Wiri Linda’
Leptospermum scoparium ‘Wiri Linda’ forms a small, bushy, evergreen tree 6 × 4 ft (1.8 × 1.2 m). The narrow, spear-shaped, green leaves are up to 0.4 in (1 cm) long. The flowers are double white; early summer and maybe again in autumn. This recent leptospermum cultivar was bred at the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens, New Zealand. In the UK it would probably be hardy to –6°C, so would need some protection in colder areas. |
