Selliera radicans is a small, creeping herbaceous plant. The glossy, fleshy leaves are up to 1.6 in (4 cm) long, and are narrow spoon-shaped. The white flowers are one-sided.

Selliera radicans is found in coastal areas, streamsides and lakesides, sea level to 3,280 ft (1,000 m), North Island, South Island and Stewart Island, New Zealand.
